Which funeral package is right for my family?
We offer five carefully designed funeral cover options to suit different family sizes and budgets. Whether you’re looking for affordable cover for yourself and your spouse or comprehensive protection for a larger family, Brilla Funerals has a package for you. Our consultants can also help you choose the option that best meets your needs.
How much does funeral cover cost?
Our funeral cover starts from R82 per month for the BI-Essence Package. Other options include Essence from R160, Heritage from R240, Legacy from R320, and Infinity from R380 per month, giving you the flexibility to choose cover that fits your budget.
How many family members can I cover?
Depending on the package you choose, you can cover yourself, your spouse, and additional dependants. Our packages range from cover for 1+1 people up to 1+9 people, making it easy to protect the people who matter most.
How do I join Brilla Funerals?
Joining is simple. Complete a membership application, choose the package that suits your family, provide the required identification documents, and start paying your monthly premium. One of our consultants can assist you throughout the process.
Is there a waiting period?
Yes. New members are subject to a 6-month waiting period for natural death claims. There is no waiting period if you transfer from another funeral policy that is fully paid up and in good standing. Different rules apply to suicide and certain dependant age groups.
Can I cover parents or extended family?
Yes. Brilla Funerals allows you to include eligible dependants on your policy, subject to the package selected and the applicable age requirements. Our consultants will help you choose the best option for your family’s needs.
